REGIONAL STATION BENGALURU

                                                                                      

ICAR-IISS Regional Station, Bengaluru earlier functioned as Seed Production Centre from 6th June, 2013; however inauguration of Regional Station building happened on 06.02.2019. Regional Station campus is situated in GKVK campus of UAS-Bengaluru adjacent to NSP. It is spanning in an area of 25 acres with an arable land of 16 acres. Seed production of major agricultural crops suited to respective zone are being taken up. Research on varied themes of seed technology is being instituted and at present 4 in house research projects and 4 offseason experiments are in operation. Currently Regional Station is having strength of 8 scientific staff.
