IISS Farm

Dr. S. Ayyappan, Hon'ble Secretary DARE & Director General, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, inaugurated weather station at ICAR-DSR, Mau and visted DSR Field on 03.04.2015.

Dr. Swapan Kumar Datta, Deputy Director General (Crop Sciences), Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi, RAC chairman Dr. S. K. Rao Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, JNKVV, Krishi Nagar, Adhartal, Jabalpur (MP), Dr A K Sharma, Director, National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms, Mau(UP) and Dr. S. Rajendra Prasad, Project Director, ICAR-Directorate of Seed Research, Mau(UP) inaugurated seed processing building at ICAR-DSR, Mau on 27.12.2014.

The Directorate has a farm of 22 acres for research, seed production and coordinated field trials. DSR farm is well developed with required farm machinery, implement shed, threshing floor, glass house and green houses. A pond has also been constructed for Pond for fish rearing
