Dr. Govind Pal, Sr. Scientist, ICAR- Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP) has been awarded by the ‘Young Scientist Award’ of Indian Society of Extension Education, New Delhi. The Award has been given during ISEE Golden Jubilee National seminar (November 5-7, 2015) at BHU, Varanasi.

ICAR- Directorate of Seed Research has participated in the “Kisan Mela” 2015 organized by Dhruv singh smriti seva sansthan evam baba harivansh inter college pur at Balia (UP), on 11 Feb., 2015. During the Mela, ICAR-DSR showcased its frontier technologies including demonstration of seed testing and storage methods. The ICAR-DSR stall was visited farmers, students, scientists and extension functionaries in large numbers. The ICAR-DSR, Mau bagged the 2nd prize and a certificate for the best stall exhibition organized at Balia (UP).

Dr. S. Rajendra Prasad, Project Director, Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP) has been honored with prestigious award "Dr.Kalayya Krishnamurthy National Award for the Best Agricultural Research" for the year 2011-12, for his per excellence in agricultural research, specially a seed science and seed production, in the Foundation day ceremony held on 05.10.2012 at UAS, Bangalore, Karnataka.

Dr. Asit Kumar Mandal, Scientist (Plant Pathology), Directorate of Seed Research, Mau (UP) has been awarded the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for P.G. Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research in Agricultural and Allied Sciences 2011. The Award has been given by Hon'ble Sharad Pawar, Union Agriculture and Food Processing Minister on 16th July 2012 in the ICAR Award -2012 ceremony held at NASC Complex, New Delhi.
