How to Reach

By road: Mau is well connected by road with nearby cities like Varanasi (by NH 29), Lucknow (by NH 233 & 28) and Gorakhpur. Mau is approximately 120 km away from Varanasi, the city of temples. Uttar Pradesh State Transport Corporation (UPSTC) buses are available for arriving Mau. DSR is 12 km away from the Mau city and can be easily reached by autorickshaw.

By Rail: Nearest rail station is Mau Junction (MAU) which is 15 km away from Indian Institute of Seed Science (IISS), Kushmaur. Mau Railway junction is well connected with the nearby cities like Varanasi (93 km), Gorakhpur, Lucknow through intercity expresses and other trains. The place is also well connected to metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune through daily and weekly express trains.
